  • Wy-ALT Initial Pre-ID Window Now Open

The spring 2017 Wy-ALT Initial Pre-ID window is now open and closes on December 13 in TIDE. TIDE is available by visiting the Building Coordinators page on the Wyoming Alternate Assessment portal. All students taking the Wy-ALT must be pre-identified in TIDE.  Test Administrators and Second Scorers are able to enter scores only for students pre-identified. Various resources to assist in pre-identifying students and using TIDE are available by searching “TIDE” on the Resources page.

  • Training Registration

The Spring 2017 Wy-ALT Training Registration page is open and will remain open until Thursday, January 5, 2017. No additional requests for registration will be taken after registration closes.

You must attend training to administer the test – the Wy-ALT Project Team will use sign-in sheets from training to ensure you have access to the Data Entry Interface during the testing window.  If you did NOT participate in a full day training in January 2016, you must register for a full day training (not a Refresher) if you are a Test Administrator or Second Scorer this year.  If you have questions, please contact the Wy-ALT Help Desk at and you will receive a reply within 24 hours regarding your inquiries.

    Online Systems

TIDE is the system used to edit and add students for pre-identification, add users (Test Administrators and Second Scorers), and review material orders. It will open on November 30 for the Initial Pre-ID Window. Existing users will receive an email on November 29 at 5:00 p.m. with a temporary password and must create a new password the next time they log into TIDE. At this time, Test Coordinators will also be able to add users. When a new user account is created, an activation email will be sent to the user. The email will include a temporary password and instructions about setting up a new user account.  The TIDE User Management Guidance Document on the Portal includes more information on TIDE user accounts.
