  • Wy-ALT Spring 2017 Important Dates and Information

    The Spring 2017 Wy-ALT Administration window will take place between February 28 – March 24, 2017. Please review these important dates regarding TIDE pre-ID window, ordering windows, training, and more.

    On the Resources page of the portal, you will find a fact sheet, sample tasks to practice test administration, and guidelines for student participation in the assessment. In the coming months, updated administration manuals and user guides for the Wy-ALT system will be posted.

    Online Systems

    TIDE is the system used to edit and add students for pre-identification, add users (Test Administrators and Second Scorers), and review material orders. It will open on November 30 for the Initial Pre-ID Window. Existing users will receive an email on November 29 at 5:00 p.m. with a temporary password and must create a new password the next time they log into TIDE. At this time, Test Coordinators will also be able to add users. When a new user account is created, an activation email will be sent to the user. The email will include a temporary password and instructions about setting up a new user account.  The TIDE User Management Guidance Document on the Portal includes more information on TIDE user accounts.
